The Information Technology (IT) Coordinator will work with the IT Manager to provide, establish, manage, and support information technology (IT) devices and projects to ensure the consistent function for all Fessler and Bowman Employees. This role succeeds through utilizing a team approach and focusing abilities on excellent service, goal completion, and promoting optimal user experiences. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the expectations of this role.
Five Key Roles of the IT Coordinator:
Provide best-in-class service to team members for all IT related hardware and software issuesTimely delivery, set up and tracking of IT devices for new hires and existing employeesConduct employee onboarding for new devices to ensure proper training and usage for the userProvide back-end support for IT services as assigned by the IT ManagerAct as "The Customer Voice" for IT-related improvementsEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
Rely on a ticket system for day-to-day workflow of the departmentProvide Tier 1 and 2 IT support to all staff and escalate to the IT Manager if neededAttend weekly meetings with the IT Manager to help prioritize work and upcoming projectsBe flexible and adaptive in working with, repairing, and analyzing varying technologiesIntroduce new employees to their devices and help familiarize them with their functionsSet up and track new devices according to the role (Phones, Laptops, Tablets)Manage device fleets in multiple locationsComplete assigned tasks in a timely manner, communicate on progressBe vigilant and analytical in improving internal systems and proceduresConducts work in a professional and courteous mannerOther duties as assignedEducation, Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
2+ years of related experience required
Networking/Technological Certifications a plus (MS, A+, Network+, etc.)
Knowledge of Windows OS(10/Server), iOS, Android OS, and Office Suite a must
Organized with attention to detail, Excel proficiency a plus
Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills across multiple platforms
