About IT Business Systems Analyst Supply Chain and Planning (Manufacturing)

  If you are an Oracle business system professional with Supply Chain and ASCP Material planning experience, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in one of our main US locations, you will work as a liaison between our varied business/end users and IT systems development teams to deliver and enhance IT based solutions. This position will work with business users using Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) modules such as ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning) to improve results and tools. You will also have opportunities to be a member of a team that deploys new implementations of Oracle across our Business Unit partners.

  As a Business Systems Analyst, YOU WILL:

  • Relative to supply change management and planning processes, identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives.

  • Recommend existing Oracle solution sets deployed within Emerson to meet requirements.

  • Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.

  • Participate in global Community of Practice to share best practices, education, and results delivered by IT solutions.

  • Research business requirements and document the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices).

  • Understand available and future functionalities with Oracle that have not yet been deployed but may deliver new value to the business.

  • Translate business requirements into application requirements. Guide users through implementation projects as well as leading actions needed to successful roll out new sites or functionality.

  You work to help understand how the material availability and visibility drive improved operational decision making and results. You see how technology and tools can enable the supply chain and material planning professionals within Emerson operate at a higher faster level of effectiveness to deliver more value to their respective business unit and Emerson customers. You readily action new challenges, without unnecessary planning. You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You create teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

  REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain/Material Management, or related field

  • 4+ years of related IT experience

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and influence

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States- sponsorship will not be provided for this position

  Colorado pay transparency requirement:

  Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary/pay range for this role is $90,000-$110,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
