Key Responsibilities:
Audit Execution:
Plan and execute IT audit engagements, ensuring adherence to audit standards and procedures.
Evaluate the effectiveness of information systems controls, identifying weaknesses and proposing solutions.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize areas of concern within the IT environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT security and data privacy.
Stay abreast of changes in regulations and incorporate them into audit processes.
Documentation:
Prepare clear and concise audit documentation, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
Maintain organized and up-to-date audit files for reference and review.
Communication:
Communicate audit results and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with IT and business teams to implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.
Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in IT audit and security.
Training and Development:
Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the audit team.
Stay updated on professional certifications and seek opportunities for personal and team development.
qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent.
