  Job Overview

  The IT Audit Manager will evaluate high risk areas of the Hubbell information technology environment and conduct planning, controls testing, and reporting on the control design and effectiveness assessments. In this high visibility role, the candidate will have exposure to the IT management and executive team and efficient communication skills are required to drive control maturation and increase efficiencies in the IT control environment. The candidate should demonstrate knowledge in the areas of assessing controls over IT infrastructure, applications, ERP systems (SAP), system implementations, Cloud environment, and cybersecurity processes. The candidate will report to the Senior IT Audit Manager and will partner with IT, financial and operational management personnel across the company.

  Internal Audit offers exciting and challenging engagements, exposure to diverse operations, and high-level management visibility. Internal Audit provides resources and training to keep audit team members up to date on all aspects of their responsibilities.

  A Day In The Life

  Contribute to continuous improvements and automation in the IT control environment and drive efficiencies to help business strengthen risk posture.

  Promote a zero-tolerance control environment where fraud and/or noncompliance is unacceptable.

  Identify and clearly define IT audit project scope, issue root causes, recommend improvements in internal IT controls and business processes, and ensure corrective action plans are developed and implemented timely.

  Perform comprehensive risk-based audits of information technology environment, including for cloud environment, ERP, IT applications, software development/implementations, databases, operating systems (Linux, Windows), backups and disaster recovery, vendor management, and cybersecurity.

  Evaluate high risk areas to assess adequacy of controls, and compare to industry standards, methodologies, and control frameworks such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Control Objective for Information and related Technology (COBIT).

  Assist with annual Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) IT audits and review SOC reports.

  Working knowledge of data extraction and analysis techniques to analyze data using data analytics tools like PowerBi, and within SAP.

  Assess compliance with applicable policies, standards, and procedures.

  Collaborate at multiple levels of the organization, including with senior management, Operational Auditors, and external auditors.

  Assist in generating annual IT audit plan.

  What will help you thrive in this role?

  Bachelor’s degree in information systems or in related field.

  CISA, CISSP or other related IT audit certification highly preferred.

  At least 2-5 years of relevant technology audit experience.

  Working knowledge of SAP ERP and data analytics tools.

  Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

  High energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic and changing environment that strives to exceed expectations.

  Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  Strong project management, proactiveness, and able to deal effectively with ambiguity.

  Interact well with people in different and varying roles and able to work simultaneously on multiple projects in a multi-cultural environment.

  Ability to travel approximately 15%.
