This Position is for a Field Examiner 3 with a work location in New Orleans, LA.

　　JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

　　Field Examiner 3's are responsible for completing complex field exams for current and prospective clients to determine the financial condition, establish collateral values and determines the risk in the collateral. Guides, trains and directs new staff regarding field exams, collateral and related reporting. Completes the most complicated field exams with minimal or no assistance from Manager.

　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Conducts field exams of prospective and existing commercial clients in accordance with standard field exam procedures.

　　Completes the most complicated field exams with little or no management assistance.

　　Evaluates client's financial condition by studying internal reports, bank statements, and related financial documents.

　　Reviews accounts receivable records to determine aging of accounts and rate of payment to determine quality of accounts.

　　Reviews inventory data to determine quality of inventory.

　　Studies client's accounting procedures to ensure that they conform to accepted procedures.

　　Evaluates collateral and establishes collateral values in accordance with accepted procedures.

　　Verifies documents, invoices, and transactions regarding the sufficiency of the collateral based upon observation of physical inventory and random sampling.

　　Prepares detailed reports of field exams to detail the risk for lenders and management.

　　SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

　　Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting or Finance.

　　7+ years experience in Asset Based Lending (ABL) and/or Banking required.

　　5 years of experience conducting ABL Field Examinations required.

　　Completion of Secured Finance Network's "Field Examiners School" or equivalent required.

　　An equivalent combination of training, experience and education may be considered.

　　Ability to travel at least 50% of the time as needed.

　　Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions.

　　Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
