A Place to Be Proud.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Epic Cogito Analyst will work collaboratively with clinicians and business units to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity and to promote system enhancements and integration of clinical information systems and workflows. This role requires well-developed communication, analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills - leveraging both logic and creativity. Competencies for each of the areas below are outlined in the Career Ladder.SYSTEM DESIGNUnderstand and translate the business functionality into Clinical Information System configuration and workflow validations.Suggest design alternatives and make appropriate design decisions.Design, configure and validate new or modified functionality.Understand appropriate application of Population Health tools and strategies.DATA, ANALYTICS AND REPORTINGAssists with analysis of external data definitions documentation and mapping process.Knowledge of user business practices, concepts and terminology sufficient to support data mapping identification.Responsible for analyzing and mapping medical, laboratory and any other health-related data in compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures.Working knowledge of dashboard development including concept design and build.Working knowledge of database management, report validation methods and data aggregation strategies.CONSULTATIONMaintain client relationships by ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues and communicate recommendations for system modifications and enhancements to the appropriate teams.Understand appropriate use of technology to optimize care delivery process and assist care providers to create and record the evidence of their practice within the Electronic Health record.Work with leadership to create de
