　　About the Role

　　The Investment Services and Technology ( InvesTech ) mission is to drive Wellington’s innovation and operational edge to exceed the investment and service expectations for our clients and business partners worldwide. We accomplish this by bringing technology and operations together to deliver better, more efficient outcomes.

　　The InvesTech Associate programme is an entry level pathway into our firm for those who are interested in combining their passion for technology and investment management within a dynamic and innovative environment.

　　You will learn from experienced professionals and receive ongoing training and development that will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. Throughout the programme, you will build your understanding of investment management concepts, data analysis and visualisation techniques, as well as business and professional skills.

　　THE POSITION

　　As an InvesTech Associate, you can expect to work on a variety of projects that enhance Wellington Management’s business performance and efficiency. You will be a part of teams that design, build, test, and support our robust technology suite, which includes software applications, databases, networks, and servers. You will also collaborate with other business divisions that support our investment functions.

　　WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

　　You can come from any academic background, as long as you have a passion for technology and/or operations and a keen interest in the investment industry. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or school leavers who are available to start in September 2024.

　　What you will bring:

　　A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a strong customer service orientation

　　A self-motivated and humble mindset, with a willingness to learn from and collaborate with others

　　A proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel

　　A team player who enjoys building cross-team relationships

　　A flexible and independent worker who can adapt to a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, where priorities change frequently.
