Position Summary:
Normal working hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday
This will role support the Production Maintenance department mission capability by providing management of spare parts inventory, ensuring all parts and materials necessary for equipment maintenance are properly inventoried, stored, and controlled. Additionally, the position will perform all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to accurately receive inventory, and monitor inventory levels. Control shipping, receiving, and purchasing transactions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions.
Work with management and project leads to determine parts for new equipment.
Determine and maintain min/max stock levels for all parts.
Assign internal part numbers for new parts in CMMS and set up all parts data.
Create and maintain BOM (Bill of materials) in CMMS for equipment assets with stocked parts.
Create, process and close Purchase Orders using SAP E-Proc System.
When necessary, use Purchasing Credit Card to obtain parts. Requires a monthly report to be created for approval.
Accurately receive goods into the CMMS.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Coordinate return material authorizations with manufacturers.
Assist management with purchasing and vendor management.
Work with management and technicians to locate parts as required.
Work with management to identify replacement parts when parts become obsolete.
Identify and purge parts associated with out of service equipment.
Maintain vendor files.
Execute a comprehensive cycle count program schedule.
Fully support all audit activities as requested.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

Education, Skills, & Experience:
High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in inventory control management
Higher level degree in Business is a plus
Knowledge of distribution center and manufacturing operations preferred
Knowledge of SAP / Eproc and CMMS software strongly preferred
Experience working in a regulated industry preferred
