Job Responsibilities* Leads, develops and coachesteam: * Provides clear expectations,feedback and recognition * Participates in the hiring/selection process* Writes and conducts performance evaluations and progress reports *Handles associate relations issues * Delivers results in line with thefollowing key metrics/accountabilities: * Inventory turns and productavailability * Product forecasting accuracy * Inventory accuracy *Average inventory value * Associate retention * Develops andimplements inventory control strategies and procedures that support allstages of the supply chain. * Manages the forecasting and planning ofinventoried products to meet customer needs while maintaining inventoryvalue within guidelines. * Investigates and resolves inventory relatedproblems. * Works closely with all business partners to identify andimplement system and process improvements. * Carries outresponsibilities in a fair, ethical and non-discriminatory manner andensure that staff follows these same guidelines. * Manages expenses inline with departmental budgets and corporate business conditions. *Enforces and supports all company policies and procedures. Education: * Bachelor\'sDegreein supply chain management. * In lieu of Bachelor\'s degree, mayconsider an Associate\'s degree in Supply Chain and additional 4+ yearsof inventoryrelated experience. * APICS Certification in inventorymanagement desired. Other Skills/Qualifications: * Proficient in MSOffice Suite with advanced Excel skills. * Knowledge of inventoryplanning and control methodologies. * Ability to collaborateeffectively across departments and at all levels within theorganization. * Strongproblem solving andanalytical skills. PhysicalRequirements Work is performed primarily in a standard officeenvironment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment forextended periods of time.
