As the Inventory Control Manager, you will monitor trends, analyze issues, recommend improvements and provide leadership and training to Inventory Control team members. 　　What you'll do on a typical day:Manage the Inventory Control team members, ensuring company policies are enforcedMaintain the integrity of inventory records while following established proceduresResearch complex transaction histories to reconcile discrepanciesCommunicate effectively with all levels of management and customer representativesProvide leadership and training to accomplish company goals and objectivesCoordinate activities for team members, ensuring effective use of productive working hoursInvestigate all facets of facilities operations to troubleshoot processes and make/recommended improvementsPosition requires heavy domestic travelWhat you need to succeed at GXO:

　　At a minimum, you'll need:4 years of inventory control experienceProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with computerized scanner equipmentAvailability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekendsAbility to travel domestically up to 60%

　　Preferred:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experienceAPICS or CSCMP certifications5 years of inventory control experience including slotting and unit measures5 years of supervisory or managerial experienceAbility to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applicationsSolid time management and multitasking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audienceSelf-motivated work style with excellent analytical and math skillsSolid attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problemsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
