  Joinour team now at Siemens Healthineers as the Inventory Control Manager and SupplyChain Analyst . The role is based at our manufacturing sitein Swords, Co Dublin, Ireland.

  Youwill work as a key member of the logistics team, working with various functionsacross supply chain such as Procurement, Planning, Operations and 3PL partners toimprove inventory control and accuracy and optimizing inventory control andlogistics processes. Siemens are looking for someone with the analyticalskills to identify and implement process and system improvements while havingthe leadership and collaborative skills to implement change.

  This is a rolewell suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in theircareer. As the Inventory Control Manager/Analyst you will:

  · Responsiblefor driving the inventory control program across the site and ensuring all keystakeholders provide full support and compliance to maintain accuracy.

  · Lead theinventory control team and ensure all operational activities are on track (cyclecounting, COGI reconciliation, physical material storage setup, Control Audits).

  · Conduct rootcause analysis to identify the issues effecting inventory inaccuracy andpartner with stakeholders to eliminate same.

  · RedefineInventory Control KPI’s and processes as applicable and align targets with best-in-classperformance and Finance / Quality expectations.

  · Supportthe Logistics Manager with analytic insights to drive improvements in logisticsoptimization. (Material handling efficiency, inventory accuracy, storageutilization, labelling, service level improvement and freight optimization)

  · Participatein continuous improvement and cost reduction projects across supply chain.

  · Work withIT to leverage the full capabilities of our current systems (i.e. SAP, scanningetc.) and identify and implement improvements.

  Planning andanalytical skills with the ability to collate and analyse data fordecision making.

  A pragmaticLEAN focus to drive continuous improvement through engagement.

  Good workingknowledge of SAP or other similar ERP systems, especially in Logisticswith the inquisitiveness to explore the full capabilities of SAP forongoing improvement.

  Currentlyleads a small team or have the skills and desire to lead a team.

  Excellentoral communications, business writing skills and presentation skills.

  Self-directing,goal oriented and able to prioritise workloads.

  Requirementsto succeed in this role

  Batchelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT,Engineering or a related discipline(QQI level 8).

  Minimum of 5 years professional experiencewithin Logistics or planning (preferably in a manufacturing organization).

  · Analytical ability to utilize thecapability of ERP systems (Preferably SAP) to drive process improvement andprovide decision making information, track activity and track performance.

  History of driving continuousimprovement through people using data and information.

  Prior experience in leading peopleeffectively either as a direct reporting team or through projects.

  Experience in related fields likeproduction operations, procurement or planning would be an advantage.Broad view on Supply chain managementand processes.
