Under general mentorship this position is responsible for coordinating cycle counts and physical inventory schedules. They are required to handle compliance, inventory reporting, and process documentation. They are to support the Materials Manager to ensure inventory levels and logistics are optimized. They are also responsible for supervising employees to conduct quality and productive work.
In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be:
Enforces the cycle count process for the distribution center.
Assists in establishing inventory accuracy standards throughout MDC
Collaborate with IT and Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and other functions to coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
Inventory analysis by facility and product type for all Product Hierarchy levels in JDE.
Work with Operations staff to develop strategy to improve material flow and accuracy.
Assist Value Streams in inventory planning.
Responsible for managing material handling.
Implements information and material flow with both internal plants and external suppliers.
Able to lead a department and varying staff size up to 10.
Process owner for Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation and mapping as it relates to inventory control.
Able to lead projects to reduce cost and improve efficiency throughout the facility.
Special tasks as assigned.

For this Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree
1+ years Inventory Control experience or Materials Planning and Procurement in a fast-paced plant procurement environment.
Effective communication and negotiation skills are critical.
Excel use.
Occasionally lift and maneuver 30lbs.
Perform sophisticated and varied tasks that require independent knowledge, its application to a variety of situations, and the exercise of independent judgement.
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience in implementing or using JDE strongly desired.
Experience in warehouse distribution and working with a Global supply chain
C.P.M and / or C.P.I.M Certificates
