Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an Inventory Clerk. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible to manage orders to facilitate sales or production and keep track of goods and services. As the Inventory Clerk you will be signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and placing orders for more inventory according to demand. Are you a detailed oriented inventory professional with excellent math and communication skills? Then this is the Inventory Clerk position for you.

　　Control inventory by stocking and cataloging products

　　Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and scheduling shipment arrival times

　　Performing data entry

　　Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs

　　Handling all inconsistencies in documents

　　Managing items by counting and classifying

　　Identify and call out discrepancies between physical counts and computer records

　　Working closely with the purchasing manager and inventory analyst Requirements - Mathematical and analytical skills

　　1+ years' experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred

　　Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

　　Experience using inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets

　　High attention to detail is critical, as well as problem solving skills

　　A minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalentKnowledge of the range of company products and services
