Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible to keep track of goods and services and manage orders to facilitate sales or production. As the Inventory Clerk you will be placing orders for more inventory according to demand, signing off on shipments, and counting the number of available products. If you are a detailed oriented inventory professional with excellent math and communication skills, this is the Inventory Clerk position for you!

　　Key responsibilities

　　Working closely with the purchasing manager and inventory analyst

　　Counting and classifying items

　　Securing shipment arrival times from vendors and suppliers after ordering inventory

　　Comparing costs from different vendors after obtaining estimates

　　Entering data into the system

　　Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products

　　Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records

　　Handling document discrepancies Requirements

　　Knowledge of the range of company products and services

　　High attention to detail as well as problem solving skills

　　Experience using inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets

　　Must have strong mathematical and analytical skills

　　1+ years' experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred

　　Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
