Description:
Provide critical analyses to the organization in order to determine lot sizes, quantities, and schedules to match the volumes in the SOP Demand Plan with the economic order quantities of manufacturing to maximize profitability.
Analyze and provide feedback to Sales on customer forecasting including validating significant increases, variability, monitoring order behaviors, inventory projections and review the ramifications of those forecasts on manufacturing supplies.
Monitor and analyze safety stocks at all levels of the Bill of Materials, compensating for changes in supply and demand.
Identify, analyze, and recommend inventory levels and areas of opportunity in order to meet the inventory business objectives.
Function as a liaison, coordinating across multiple departments including Sales, Process Engineering, Quality, Accounting, and Operations in order to achieve these objectives.
Develop and monitor the execution of daily production plans to meet the company’s objectives
Develop and monitor material plans for Preventative Maintenance Plans
Provide a monthly analysis of aged inventory to the executive team
Provide backup support for Production Planners, Production Planning Team Lead, Sr. Material Requirements Planners
Monitor, analyze, and provide recommendations for customer forecast to meet the company’s objectives
Provide weekly root cause and corrective actions for on-time delivery
Monthly cycle counting
Provide lead times for customer orders

Additional Skills Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience in a production environment with basic inventory and manufacturing concepts or combination of education/experience.
Emphasis in Supply Chain Management preferred.
Skills Requirements:
Must be able to communicate in English for all business/job related transactions.
In-depth knowledge of ERP and MRP Systems.
Advanced Excel skills.
SAP/IPT experience (OMP/APO/MRP/ERP) or similar planning system experience preferred.
Solid computer understanding utilizing Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
