Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2024 semester (09/03/2024 - 12/15/2024)

Course: Introduction to Computer Technology

This course provides the foundation of core knowledge within the field of information technology. Topics include technology-centric organizations, the type and role of fundamental information technology systems, data management to include privacy and security, e-business and m-business, hardware, software, and computer networks.

What You Will Do:

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions

Engage students in learning course objectives and topics

Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom

Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

PhD/DBA Information Systems OR

Doctorate in an Information Systems related discipline (Preferred)

Master’s in Information Systems OR

Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) AND

5 or more years of experience working with technology
