This role will support the global Diversity & Inclusion and Corporate Philanthropy communications team to help craft and execute messages and strategies that promote and advance the company's D&I initiatives and philanthropic efforts. This role combines expertise in communication, corporate social responsibility, and understanding of D&I principles.
We are looking for a high-energy, responsive, and detail-oriented communicator to develop and execute communications in our highly dynamic environment. You will need a mix of strong writing and organizational skills as well as bring a healthy dose of creativity to the role.
We'll trust you to:
Liaise with stakeholders to collect relevant information to prepare and manage the creation process for successful communications campaignsSupport the development and execution of D&I and Corporate Philanthropy communication strategiesAbility to capture the voice of stakeholders across the D&I and Corporate Philanthropy as you help write and edit compelling messagesAttend/lead regular meetings for communications planningHelp manage the editorial calendar (i.e., Trello board)Develop (draft or edit) and promote D&I and Corporate Philanthropy content across our internal communication channels and secure placement of content on digital screens, and employee newslettersManage metrics for D&I and CP leader events, stories, videos and assist with quarterly reportingHelp promote external blogs and press releases on media and on advocacy platforms leveraged by BloombergDiscretion: displaying a balance of the professional and the personable comes naturally to you. You're also comfortable with prioritizing your daily to-do list, based on timely work that crosses your desk
You'll need to have:
1-3 years applicable experience working in communications in various disciplinesAttention to detail, strong writing and editing skills and a desire to put them to good usePassion for D&I and philanthropy, technology, and financial servicesOutgoing, self-starting, get-it-done worldview.
