My client is a for profit corporate organization looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join their team, based in Springfield, VA. The ideal candidate for Internal Audit Manager role will be responsible for assisting with various audit projects, overseeing the audit process, review team members work, perform risk assessments, complete financial statements audits, assisting with reviews, compilations and reporting on financial positions. Daily responsibilities of the Internal Audit Manager include:

· Perform audits to ensure compliance.

· Prepare and evaluate workpapers.

· Assist with planning audit procedures.

· Identify audit issues and perform reviews.

· Assist with other ad hoc duties.

Requirements

The ideal Internal Audit Manager we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:

· 5-6+ years of relevant accounting experience.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

· Experience working on audits.

· CPA or pursuing CPA licensure, a plus.

· Strong communication skills.
