Responsibilities

The Student Nurse Intern in the Medical/Surgical Unit will perform a variety of routine tasks to support the delivery of safe, effective, cost-efficient patient care as delegated by the RN. Provides assistance in transporting, transferring and lifting. Performs cleaning functions in patient care units as delegated and performs selected diagnostic tests. The Student Nurse Intern's experiences will prepare the student for their impending new role as a graduate nurse.

Qualifications

High school Diploma required

BLS Certification required

Has completed at least one clinical rotation in nursing school

Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (with verification of enrollment and status)

Pay Range

$12.24 - $16.83 /hour
