　　During your internship, you will be working with a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of transportation projects including major roadway and interchange projects, bridge replacement projects, and roadway maintenance projects.

　　Working closely with supervisors and mentors, you will have the opportunity to:Perform detailed engineering calculationsDesign roadway alignments, drainage, erosion control and traffic controlWrite technical reportsDevelop construction plan drawings using Microstation/Openroads design softwareDevelop construction cost estimatesEducation | Experience:Minimum Qualifications:Enrollment in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering programWorking towards bachelor's or master's degree in Civil EngineeringAn interest in learning more about careers in the transportation industryStrong data analysis and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated and eager to learnStrong verbal and oral communication skills

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience using CADD/Design software (Microstation/Openroads)

　　A focus or coursework related to transportation

　　Prior roadway engineering related internship or similar experience
