Under the direction of the Lead Technicians and Maintenance Supervisor, the Automation & Maintenance Technician Intern will learn how to repair, maintain and assist operations from all departments to ensure automated Packaging line and Manufacturing equipment availability is maintained. Responsibilities: Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues utilizing a systematic logical approach until the root cause is identified. Partners with the Automated Machinery Technician and/or Sr. Technician to diagnose and troubleshoot more complex equipment issues. Fabricates / repairs failed components as needed. Basic programming of electronic devices including: VFD's, PLC's, and other various controllers. Assists with the setup and operation of equipment. Requirements: Pursing a vocational or technical degree/certification in automation or automated machinery systems. Required to wear necessary safety, cGMP gowning and PPE.
