  Pay Rate: $30 - $45 Hourly

  Shift: Monday - Friday / 1st shift

  Description:

  Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for leading a team to perform interiors modifications refurbishments, and reconfigurations. Candidate will be leading and directing their assigned group of Interior Technicians in completion of their scheduled tasks, meeting the schedule for their assigned project taking all necessary action to be sure the project is delivered to the customer on time and within budget, completing all work in accordance with the project specifications and for communication with the Project Manager and assigned supervisor regarding the progress of the work.

  PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • The Interior Crew Lead must complete assigned tasks with the allocated man-hour budgets and on a schedule while maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of all safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensures complete communications to all shifts working on the project.

  • Supervise and train Interiors Technicians to insure smooth, efficient workflow.

  • Instruct technicians in proper procedures and techniques of installing and troubleshooting systems, and performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

  • Recommends specialized training to the Operations Manager for members of the assigned crew.

  • Maintain a current knowledge of aircraft factory mods, service bulletins, inspection schedule requirements, vendor information and all other procedures, publications and general information pertaining to the aircraft and equipment installed.

  • Reviews work scope with Operations Manager and Customer Project Manager prior to aircraft arrival to ensure accurate and complete understanding of the tasks to be accomplished. Seeks out missing or incomplete information as required.

  • Notifies Operations Manager of major discrepancies / difficulties.

  • Reviews material requirements prior to aircraft arrival, working closely with Material Handling personnel to set priorities and ensure on time arrivals while minimizing costs.

  • Ensures warranty and exchange items are handled correctly.

  • Plan, schedule and be responsible for the accomplishment of tasks required on assigned aircraft in order to meet schedule and to provide required status report and progress schedule to the Customer Project Manager or Operations Manager.

  • Reviews the progress of each task daily, monitoring the budgeted hours and materials, recommending corrective action as necessary to remain within budgets.

  • Inspects work accomplished by members of the assigned crew.

  • Accurately document work performed into Corridor.

  • Complete tasks in quality manner within allocated budgets and schedules.

  • Ensures that all work performed is to Dassault Falcon Jet quality and F.A.A. airworthiness standards.

  • Assist others as required.

  • Work in accordance with Company rules, including but not limited to Safety, Training, Quality, Human Resources.

  • Must present a professional manner at all times.

  • Keep work areas clean and presentable at all times.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least one year of basic carpentry or related experience.

  • Must be able to work from sketches or 3D model.

  • Must be able to read, understand and follow any written instruction such as, installation procedure, test procedure.

  • Must be able to use drills, belt, disc, drum sanders and other common hand tools and equipment.

  • Must have physical and muscular dexterity to install carpets, headliners, window panels, PSUs, cabinet assemblies, cushions, seats, tables and related components.

  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to work in standing condition, lean on floor, stand up and down repeatedly, with or without accommodation.

  • Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs, transporting any, and all, interior furnishing and assisting other employees with items requiring more than one employee to transport the same.
