Summary You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist performing advanced collection, exploitation and analysis of significant maritime-related issues impacting national security. This position is located in Pearl Harbor, HI in the COMPACFLT MILITARY INTEL PROGRAM. Responsibilities You will serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert to COMPACFLT N2N39 on technical intelligence/collection and special projects. You will plan, communicate, coordinate, and lead broad and complex analytic activities with major implications for Navy, DoD, and National customers. You will create and leverage partnerships within the Intelligence Community and DoD R and D/S and T enterprise. You will evaluate and promote the adoption of emerging technologies to drive innovation and enhance COMPACFLT’s analytical capabilities. You will utilize your technical expertise of U.S. Navy Information Warfare operations and requirements, with an emphasis on SIGINT. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as the following: 1) Leading the analysis on complex integrated projects in support of a bilateral program with the National Security Agency (NSA) and other mission partners; 2) Performing highly complex all-source analysis on a wide-variety of foreign maritime issues impacting maritime collection initiatives; 3) Effectively applying existing intelligence oversight and guidance when making decisions about access to foreign and domestic sources of intelligence information; 4) Preparing new or modifying previous analyses, assessments, or other products by applying expert judgement and ingenuity in interpreting information and providing recommendations or making decisions which impact policies and programs.
