The Intellectual Property (Patent) Paralegal will be responsible formanaging client portfolios, including all filings and correspondence forboth US, PCT, and foreign prosecution of assigned clients. This entailscreating, revising, and filing of all prosecution documents in US and PCTapplications, corresponding with foreign associates regarding all aspects offoreign prosecution, and timely reporting of official correspondenceconcerning the same. The position requires excellent attention to detail,strong organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to meetdeadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highlyadaptable, proactive, and have a high level of analytical thinking andproblem-solving skills. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft products andcomfort level with technology are essential. The ability to work bothindependently and in a team environment is a must. Strong customer serviceorientation and oral and written communication skills to effectively interactwith all tiers of personnel and clients are integral.
Responsibilities
Support various intellectual property attorneys to provide excellent serviceto our clientsPrepare and file, or instruct, on all aspects of US, PCT, and foreignprosecutionDraft formality documents, attend to document legalization (wherenecessary), comply with priority document requirementsReview and maintain a docket of associated deadlines of assigned clientsTimely report official communications to the client and foreign associatesConsistently achieve 1500 billable hour requirement (including approvednon-billable time)Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in international, PCT, and USprosecution requiredMust have a high school diploma (or equivalent); college degree and/ora paralegal certificate from a school approved by the ABA is preferred

Pursuant to the ColoradoEqual Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Denverbased position is between $72,900 - $118,900.
