　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　This Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for overseeing the process for all property/casualty insurance programs in the Agency. The CSR monitors all property & casualty issues and claims as directed. The CSR processes and inputs all related claims and completes all data entry related tasks. https://afs-insurance.com/

　　This position is located at the Associated Food Stores' corporate office, with an opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.

　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Manages risk management including research and assembly of financial loss information and prior insurer information. Reviews coverage, invoices and loss runs.Prepares, reviews, completes, and issues proposals for prospective and current clients. Performs claims reviews.Provides training and education for new team members and continuing education for existing team members within the Property/Casualty insurance unit and CSR's, regarding the computer system, account handling procedures and processes, agency customer service expectations. The system includes application setup, policy setup, client and prospect setup, billing procedure setup, insurance binder preparation, issuing certificates, the follow-up process, and standard forms/letters.Responsible for customer service including response to inquiries regarding varied issues, claims and policy service.Performs other tasks and duties as requested.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Education/Training: 

　　High School Diploma/GED or related field experience required.Associates degree preferred.Property & Casualty License issued by State of Utah Insurance Department preferredHealth and Disability license helpfulExperience:

　　Three years or more work experience in related insurance field.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Intermediate accounting knowledge & principles requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

　　Understanding of insurance industry concepts and practices. Ability to analyze risks and write proposals. Knowledge of underwriting processes and procedures. Understanding and skill using insurance terminology.Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft products and related software.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Basic administrative and math skills.
