Posting Summary The Rutgers Center for Government Services is looking for multiple part-time Instructors in the area of emergency response training. The Instructor will teach in one or more of the following areas between the Rutgers Center for Government Services and the New Jersey State Police:Urban Search RescueHazardous MaterialsTraining Education

Tasks will include responsibilities for physically establishing the course environment and dismantling the course environment upon completion of the course

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Preferred Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Certified by the state and federal governments in relevant emergency management training.Certified Instructor with two years of experienceApproved by the Center's Education Advisory Body for the New Jersey State Police Emergency Response Training Program consistent with the MOU between Rutgers and the New Jersey State Police.Good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

Additional infection control and safety policies may apply. Prospective employees should speak with their hiring manager to determine which policies apply to the role or position for which they are applying. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain a medical or religious exemption from the University will result in rescission of a candidate's offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
