Responsibilities Manage, instruct and provide coaching expertise to Division I competitive athletes for the Women's Volleyball Program. Promote Academic excellence and Character Development to future Air Force Officers. Assess and recruit top athletic candidates for entry into one of the most prestigious institutions in the country. Position will also perform faculty duties in the Department of Athletics, United States Air Force Academy. Will perform other duties as required by Head Coach to include but not limited to travel logistics, maintaining supplies/equipment, oversight of student athlete performance in and out of the athletic area. Will manage and instruct competitive athletic programs, perform assigned departmental duties, promote professional activities in area of athletic specialization. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's Degree and proficiency in the field of specialization - Volleyball. Three years of NCAA College, Coaching Olympic or Professional experience. Ability to travel with the team and to travel on recruiting trips. ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES: N/A DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates will be those that have knowledge of NCAA Division I guidelines for eligibility/recruiting, demonstrated experience in coaching Women's Volleyball. Ability to offer strong analytical skills, which will allow them to provide strategical tips and analysis during practices, and competitions. Essential qualities expected of every faculty member include the personal attributes of integrity, industry, cooperation, initiative, and organizational management. Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and demonstrated excellence in teaching. Candidates will have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. Leadership experience in curriculum development and academic assessment is desired. Applicants will be assessed based on education, evidence of teaching effectiveness, quality of scholarship, and demonstrated service to educational institutions and the discipline commensurate with years in the discipline.
