　　Job Description

　　AECOM is currently seeking a well expereinced Inspector to support multiple projects loctated within the New, NY metro location.

　　Under minimal direction, relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

　　Responsible for setting own project deadlines.

　　Provides on the job training to new employees.

　　Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.

　　Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.

　　Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.

　　Tracks quality assurance progress.

　　Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　High School Diploma plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

　　Due to the projects associated with this position a US Citizenship is required

　　Valid US Drivers License

　　Preferred Requirements:

　　Ten years of responsible experience in public transportation employment,

　　including a background in Inspections, residential engineering, and related practices

　　Five years of experience with a railroad and/or rail transit agency

　　Non-Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation ([insert state] locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $50 - $77/hr.
