  About our Team

  Our team is responsible for new sales of Elsevier's Coporate portfolio solutions. Our products empower the research of hundreds of organizations including the world's leading corporate, government and academic clients. We innovate by listening and learning from customers to ensure we continuously deliver value for increasingly complex industries.

  About the Role

  Inside Solutions Account Managers are responsible for growing Elsevier’s research intelligence solutions. Working on new sales and maintenance/growth of existing accounts. (Renewals and upsell/cross-sell). You'll maintain customer relationships and leverage internal and external resources to drive growth. You'll report to the Global Inside Solution Director.This position is hybrid role (Office/Home Based) with very limited travel, (Mexico or Brazil.)

  Responsibilities

  Achieving revenue targets for Research Intelligence solutions across new business and renewals.

  Planning, annually for accounts and executing. (Jointly with other sales resources where required.)

  Reviewing sales results and forecasts regularly.( e.g. via Clari and other sales enablement tools and adjusting actions accordingly.

  Ensuring Salesforce is always up to date.

  Gathering, monitoring and evaluating competitor information. Providing market feedback to the business to enhance product development and Go-To-Market.

  Developing and maintaining relationships with all relevant decision makers and influencers. Especially at the customer level to support Elsevier’s strategic objectives.

  Providing customer support and after sales follow-up.

  Requirements

  Have an accredited education, or equivalent experience.

  (Have a proven track record with commercial (b2b) experience. (3+)

  Have proven success in negotiating contracts and closing business.

  Have proven success in new business prospecting, selling, negotiating and closing skills.

  Experience working with research administration and management functions. Including knowledge in regional or national research programs and collaboration networks is highly valued.
