Responsible for assigned product management, includingselecting product vendors, purchasing, pricing, monitoring inventory,and promoting assigned products. Contact customers regarding marketfluctuations and trends. Initiate inquiries, sales, and promotions forproduct needs to customer. Coordinates and maximizes customer inventory.Communicate customer service requirements to locations customer servicerepresentatives. Coordinate customer deliveries with shipping personnel. Atsome locations, may perform freight/trucking specialist responsibilities.Contact vendor as necessary regarding products relative to customers questionsor concerns. Assist outside sales staff and product managers. Assist indeveloping and executing marketing programs, promotions, and new productresearch. Provide lead role to sales support staff. Demonstrate strongcommitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuousprocess improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent work experience inrelated job function. Working conditions are an office environment withminimal physical exertion.Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of building products a plus. Ability tounderstand and apply mathematical calculations and concepts involvingfractions, decimals, percentages, etc. Effective communication skills.Ability to work independently or with teams or groups.
