JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is responsible for the sale, rental, orleasing of all new and used John Deere and \"all-makes\" equipment,parts and service and for meeting customer\'s needs and growing marketshare, while maintaining acceptable levels of gross profit and attainingsales unit targets. Handle entire inside sales process from proposal toclose; reach or exceed sales quotas. Sell the organization\'s productsand/or services to established customers or new prospects via thetelephone or walk-in business. Duties and Responsibilities EssentialDuties and Responsibilities: May include some or all the following Otherduties may be assigned Assists in pricing equipment for territorymanagers Maintains records of equipment and attachment inventory Insuresrentals are posted daily Writes down posted daily Computer informationupdated immediately Overall responsibility for all whole goods inventoryand attachments for that location Makes appropriate value adjustmentsfrom demos and loaners Coordinates any service prep work for whole goodssales (excluding used equipment) Assists walk-in customers withequipment issues Supports territory managers with customer or equipmentissues Directs the rental program to include Proper equipment to rentProper paperwork is completed thoroughly and accurate by customer andstore personnel Assists General Managers in collecting open accountsUnder the direction of the General Manager or Regional Sales Manager,coordinates Territory Mangers sale of equipment or accessoriesInterprets and implements company policies and develops operatingprocedures to facilitate store operations Insures cash deposits are madedaily Insures the store presents a good image to customers and guestsInsures proper maintenance of the building and grounds regardingappearance, fire and safety protection, etc. Education College degreepreferred but heavy equipment sales experience may be substituted orcombined with education Organization and communication skills must behighly developed Computer skills need to be broad based Basic excel andoutlook skills a must Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figuresand amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,percentages, Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems anddeal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where onlylimited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety ofinstructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formCertificates, Licenses, Registrations Must possess a valid driver\'slicense Physical Demands The physical demands described here arerepresentative of those that must be met by an employee to successfullyperform the essential functions of this job.
