Inside Sales Engineer (Centennial, CO) Pay: $28-$38 per hour Relocation Available
Expiration Date of Job Posting: Continuous Position Summary: The role of the Inside Sales Engineer involves coordinating sales and order processing, and will work closely with project team, inventory specialist, and fabrication. The Inside Sales Engineer coordinates with customers, project managers, and technical specialists to assist with providing proposals for custom solutions for automation, electrification, and fabrication projects across several industries. Furthermore, the Inside Sales Engineer will work to manage product specifications, availability, and pricing for both sales opportunities and open orders. Provides support to the Account Managers and Project Managers by building quotations, communicating pertinent information to the customers, preparing submittals and assisting with the overall coordination of product delivery. Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering preferred.
1-3 years of Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering experience or other related technical sales experience related to electrification, instrumentation or automation is preferred.
Demonstrates problem-solving skills and a keen attention to details and accuracy, with ability to multitask.
Experience with measurement and process automation equipment with a mechanical aptitude preferred.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly proficient computer skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; previous experience with a CRM preferred.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Works closely with Sales, Purchasing and other departments to provide technical solutions and meet delivery expectations.
Maintains knowledge of company products including ability to size, select and recommend products for applications in various industries.
Provides timely service by responding to customer’s and outside sales’ requests for price quotations, order entry and placement, and communicating order status.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure proper support and provide a positive customer experience to instill confidence and comfort in every transaction.
Manage Customer Relations and order/quote through the CRM tool HubSpot.
Emphasizes service benefits of the company, discusses credit terms, price quotes, and prepares sales order reports or forms.
Work with vendors to obtain information regarding pricing and specifications as needed.
Answers all calls in a timely manner.
Displays a flexible attitude that results in teamwork.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
