Innovation Operations Associate will be responsible for supporting analytics, reporting, and process improvement for the US Innovation team by ensuring data integrity, running analyses to support recommendations, managing operational activities, and owning specific process improvement initiatives. Reports to Innovation Operations Leadership Team member.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Support the Innovation Operations Leadership Team member in crafting recommendations for target development, performance management, decision-making support, and process optimization.
Responsible for facilitating the continual enhancement of integrity, completeness, and timeliness of US innovation data to enable "one source of truth" for reporting and analytics. Some examples:
Ensure that PMB outcomes are incorporated into source files in a timely and accurate way
Incorporate real-time business decisions into source files (e.g. DRM decisions)
Integrate Oral Health information to achieve a full US view
Work closely with Project Management to review and reconcile Center-generated reports
Create and maintain consistent views to enable pipeline health and sufficiency. Run analyses on in-year performance, future forecasting, and planning for share-out to Innovation team, USLT, and HET.
Execute deep dive analyses on portfolio pain points to identify root causes and propose solutions/find opportunities.
Work with Brand and Sales to establish a repeatable means to evaluate launch performance and drivers of over/under-delivery.
Embed Yr2/3 tools and thinking across US Innovation and crossfunctional teams.
Support execution of systems, processes, and forums (Innovation Connects) to maintain accurate LE innovation forecasts and portfolio risks and opportunities.
Own US Innovation multi-brand budget, POs and other related activities to ensure responsible spending.
Establish collaborative and positive relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve innovation objectives. Effectively communicate with data-supported persuasive rationale.
Optimize systems and processes to streamline and simplify innovation-critical processes, partnering Innovation Operations Leadership Team member but also driving initiatives independently.
As needed support communication and training activities to ensure adoption of new solutions.
Assist in actuals reporting to ensure all projects/sku's are being captured correctly.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of dedicated/primary focus on innovation or portfolio management
Marketing, brand management, innovation or strategy experience in consumer goods, over the counter or non-traditional health/wellness industry
P&L/budget management, project management and/or business development experience
Ability to lead within a matrix organization, integrating complex multifunctional efforts crossing multiple business areas
Advance Excel skills
Experience working with PowerBI (Intermediate)
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
2+ years' experience in CPG marketing
Prior experience in the following areas: Revenue growth management, route-to-market planning and analysis, category or shopper marketing, CPG sales, advertising/media planning, profit and loss analysis and performance against plan, brand/package contribution, brand portfolio management, and changes in packaging.
Ability to lead within a matrix organization, integrating complex multifunctional efforts crossing multiple business areas
Strong Communicator & Connector:Ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of colleagues across multiple functions using active listening skills and open mindset to understand needs.
Analyst & Simplifier: Ability to synthesize data from a variety of input sources, into a coherent whole/clear picture to define the performance gap and to design/deliver the appropriate solutions.
