Main responsibilities in the Infusion Change Order Specialist will include:
Manage and execute change orders, assigned via specific projects and sustaining activities, through all stages of the process as per the Quality Management System.
Co-ordinate alignment across business functions both internal and external for completion of change orders and implementation (includes internal peer review, supplier technical reviews and STED file closure).
Support subject matter experts on change orders within MDR and other allocated projects (supplier focus).
Maintain expert knowledge and understanding of the key strategy for each change order.
Reduce scrap costs and limit avoidable line-stops through strategic definition of the change implementation.
Communication and alignment with finance and procurement functions on costs associated with change orders prior to implementation.
Support team communications by providing ongoing status with stakeholders.
Carry out “shared services” activities (e.g. SAP updates, Materials of Concern data collation, etc) in support of the MMS Operations function.
Help define documentation requirements to provide evidence for technical files. Source (internally with BD and externally with suppliers) and collate required documentation in agreed format.
Assist Material Data Management team or equivalent for creation of new part numbers in SAP.
Carry out PIM Data Aggregator role for MMS Operations team.
Pursue process improvement opportunities within the change order process, implementing solutions to meet or exceed business expectations.
About you
You own a UK Level 3 Qualifications (A levels / T levels or equivalent).
You have the ability to plan, organise and take the lead with cross-functional teams.
You are experienced in stakeholder communication at all levels with a bias for action and removing ambiguity.
You have a flexible attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
You are results-orientated, able to work both independently and within a team environment.
You are proactive, self-motivated, goal focused and the able to take initiative with a ‘can do’ attitude.
You can manage multiple complex priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail..
Knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing and ECN (Engineering Change Notification) processes would be advantageous.
SAP knowledge or experience would be a plus.
Experience in a highly regulated industry would be an advantage.
Experience with change control & configuration management would be advantageous.
