Introduction

　　In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

　　The infrastructure running industries likes transportation, energy, insurance, banking or healthcare is quickly changing as the world's relationship with technology evolves. Companies have more choices than ever before between on-premise, off-premise, or a hybrid approach. Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.

　　Your Role and Responsibilities

　　As a Infrastructure Specialist, you directly support clients to transform their business by addressing with innovative solutions their System and Infrastructure needs.

　　You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM and non-IBM, Cloud and on-premises platforms. In your role you will be responsible to manage on-premises infrastructure; moreover, acting as a technical, serving as a liaison among IT Architect, IT Analyst, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

　　Following a well structured implementation process, you would be able to work with customer's requirement gathering, understand risks and client's painful, carry out a PoC implementation, route the development toward a solution baseline implementation.

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　As a System Administrator Infrastructure Specialist, we are looking for candidates with the following background and skills:

　　Minimum 2+ years experience with hands-on delivery and consulting in a client-facing environment, including customer crit-sit support, and strong communication skills for management and client interaction;

　　Minimum 2+ years experience on system administration knowledge of Red Hat, Hp-ux, Solaris, Linux and Windows Server operating systems, such as managing clustered systems;

　　Environment setup, installation and configuration and tuning for performance of Oracle OID, OVD, UCM, WLP, WS, OAM, Coherence, BPM Apache, Tomcat, Broadvision, Forte, Iona, Corba

　　Makefile and Ant scripting skills

　　Good understanding of networking standards and technologies, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, routing, firewall rules, load balancers, etc;

　　Minimum 2+ years experience of JBOSS, IIS, Apache;

　　Minimum 2+ years experience Bash Linux;

　　Ability to produce high-quality documentation about solution design;

　　Good interpersonal and communication skills;

　　Intermediate knowledge of English language;

　　Good understanding on premise system monitoring tool(s).

　　Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

　　In particular, are very appreciated:

　　Certifications in system administration (Red Hat, Linux, Microsoft)

　　Certifications in a public Cloud platform (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google, IBM Cloud)

　　Understand of DevOps practices

　　Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.
