Introduction

　　In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

　　The infrastructure running industries likes transportation, energy, insurance, banking or healthcare is quickly changing as the world's relationship with technology evolves. Companies have more choices than ever before between on-premise, off-premise, or a hybrid approach. Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.

　　Your Role and Responsibilities

　　As a Infrastructure Specialist, you directly support clients to transform their business by addressing with innovative solutions their System and Infrastructure needs.

　　You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM and non-IBM, Cloud and on-premises platforms. In your role you will be responsible to manage cloud infrastructure or action for move to cloud implementation; moreover, acting as a technical, serving as a liaison among IT Architect, IT Analyst, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

　　Following a well structured implementation process, you would be able to work with customer's requirement gathering, understand risks and client's painful, carry out a PoC implementation, route the development toward a solution baseline implementation.

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　As a AWS Infrastructure Specialist, we are looking for candidates with the following background and skills:

　　Strong experience and knowledge of AWS

　　Understanding Jenkins, Groovy Script, Java, OpenShift, Docker & Kubernetes, GitLab

　　Provisioning infrastructure considering cloud native architecture and deployment models.

　　Performs Infrastructure as code provisioning and creation of sandbox environment.

　　Applies knowledge of Storage, Computer, Security Services.

　　Administration of hybrid cloud environment, Configuration of HA/DR.

　　Applies knowledge of Containers, Containers Orchestration best practices to manage application lifecycle and deployed clusters.

　　Understands SLA management, services health management and key metrics monitoring.

　　Creates Container Platform Cluster, DevOps Toolchain.

　　Knowledge of one or more cloud services ( AWS Platform, Azure Platform, Google Platform, IBM Cloud Platform or Red Hat Platform)

　　Understand of DevOps practices

　　Good Knowledge of languages like Go or Python

　　Experience as a System Administrator

　　Ability to produce high-quality documentation about solution design

　　Intermediate knowledge of English and Italian languages

　　Good interpersonal and communication skills

　　Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

　　In particular, are very appreciated:

　　Certifications in a public Cloud platform (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google, IBM Cloud)

　　Certifications in orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernates, RH OpenShift)

　　Competencies about Infrastructure as Code

　　Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.
