　　RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

　　The Information System Security Specialist is responsible for performing analysis of logs and events, and of various data collection tools; as well as experience automating processes through scripting, and assessing impacts from observed risks and present the findings through the chain-of-command.

　　QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

　　5 years of cybersecurity experience

　　IAW DoD 8570.01-M for IAT II

　　Bachelor’s degree in a technical related discipline

　　Active Secret security clearance

　　Responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to:

　　Attending mandatory, annual training sessions

　　Providing regular status reports to management summarizing progress, challenges, metrics, and recommendations

　　Collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination

　　Attending recurring team meetings or huddles

　　Assisting in the development of new initiatives
