Responsibilities :
Provide daily operational support - maintain hardware, provisioning/deprovisioning, material handling equipment (RF devices, conveyors, etc.), adhoc reporting
Responsible for providing support for applications, systems and IT products required to enable BD's business objectives.
Responsible for defect resolution and change control - triage issues, track defects
Support system changes in accordance with SDLC and TGS, including authoring test scenarios/scripts, executing testing and authoring CDNs.
Provide both internal and external agency audit support – Quality/EHS/OSHA, etc.
Supports overall application health monitoring, assessments, and improvement.
Responsible for shipment reconciliation
Understand WM and MHE configuration
Implement configuration changes and submit update statements to Manhattan MSO team
Provide updates to the business, partners and vendors.
Coordinate site support schedule (i.e. projects, holidays, vacations) to support business needs.
Act as site lead for projects (i.e. go lives, updates).
Act as site point of contact and provide support to other BD sites as relevant to your expertise.
Contributes to functional strategy development

Education & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in a related field, preferred; or Associates degree and 4+ years related experience; or High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of related experience, required.
Minimum 2 years of proven leadership experience, required.
Minimum 5 years of experience within warehouse management systems, distribution, transportation, inventory, lifecycle management, required
SQL experience, required
Material handling equipment and conveyors operations experience, preferred
Knowledge & Skills:
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Able to effectively communicate complex issues to all levels of the organization using data and reports.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team. Capable of working cross functionally.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with an in-depth understanding of transportation and logistics systems and software. Proven ability to troubleshoot operational issues in a warehouse environment.
Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
Extensive knowledge of computer systems and programming.
Excellent leadership, people management, organization, communication and influencing skills at a senior level.
Highly proficient in the use of a PC, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to quickly learn systems and software used by the organization.
Strong ability to facilitate and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines; able to balance short-term, urgent needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
Strong business acuity with solid knowledge of finance, supply chain distribution, systems, and employee management.
Excellent reconciliation, problem resolution and conflict management skills.
Knowledge and understanding of integrated program planning.

Work Environment:
This position works in a normal office environment. The noise level in the work area is quiet to moderate.At times, position may be required to support operational activities in the distribution center.
If in the distribution center, the noise level is moderate to loud.There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions.Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
