Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission and customer oriented Information Security Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our security posture and operational efficiency by implementing and managing ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) solutions, with a focus on Vulnerability Response and Threat Intelligence. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, configuring, and maintaining security workflows and processes to protect our organization's assets.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
ServiceNow SecOps Implementation: Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow SecOps solutions to automate security processes, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Security Workflow Development: Develop, customize, and maintain security workflows in ServiceNow, ensuring efficient incident detection, analysis, and resolution.
Vulnerability Management: Manage the end-to-end vulnerability management process, including scanning, assessment, prioritization, and remediation.
Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely identification and resolution of security incidents, and document post-incident reports for continuous improvement.
Integration : Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with other security tools, such as SIEM, antivirus, and threat intelligence platforms, to enhance visibility and automation.
Security Policies: Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor the security environment, generate reports, and provide insights to stakeholders on security posture and vulnerabilities.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security processes, configurations, and incident response procedures.
Training and Knowledge Sharing: Train team members and colleagues on ServiceNow SecOps best practices and share knowledge with the wider IT and security teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 4 or more years of related experience. Equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, CMMC).
Proven experience with ServiceNow implementation and configuration.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and vulnerability scanning tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address security issues proactively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is a plus.
CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications are a plus.
Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell) is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
The projected compensation range for this position is $87,600-$145,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
