Job Description Industrial Services Quoter 1801 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987 HEADA Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Industrial Services Quoter for Fastenal's Industrial Services department, you will be quoting store costs of Industrial Services work orders including Lifting and Rigging, Hose Fabrication, Light Manufacturing, Band Saw Blades, and other various Service Areas. You will be directly involved in the daily quoting operations for multiple Industrial Service Centers and areas This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Quoting stock and custom products o Ordering materials and estimating production times o Providing customer support to our branches o Processing and issuing work orders for production o Communicating order information to various departments including production employees and sales REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently, as well as, in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related education OR have equivalent industry experience o Prior quoting, inside sales, or customer service work experience o Previous print reading or design experience o Knowledge of Industrial products and services ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
