Certified as a trainer or instructor associated with high safety risk avoidance.3D CAD modeling of facilities (Solid Works).UAS/Aviation operations experience.Experience working with government agencies.Job Summary:The Industrial Safety Engineer will serve as an Industrial Safety Engineer providing operational safety and industrial maintenance support to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Office for Science and Technology (ST), Office for Advanced Technologies Intelligence Division (ATI- 7). Employee will provide on-site support at Cape Canaveral SFS Florida with direct support to Government head of facilities and industrial safety.
Responsibilities:
Assess health risks within the workplace, including but not limited to air quality, noise pollution, and UAS operations, and hazardous waste streams.Interface with several organizations and leadership chains to assure ATI7 is in line with local, federal and host facilities rules and regulations.Work with host organizations and partners to develop and implement strategies to handle various waste streams from both UAS operations and manufacturing processes to incorporate safety.Support JS operations onsite and TDY as needed. Interact with local and base organizations in support of facilities upgrades and improvements.Evaluate the current situational status of assets as they relate to the preparation and functional well-being necessary for use in upcoming events.Physical Demands or Work Environment:
