About Industrial Plant Manager - HVAC (Direct Hire) - TN001

  NO RELOCATION, LOCAL TO PORTLAND, TN -    NO SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

  This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with our client, hiring immediately!

  Purpose of Position:  Plan, direct and coordinate the activities and resources necessary for manufacturing product in accordance with cost, quality and quantity requirements.

  Responsibilities:

  Direct and coordinate all activities related to timely and cost-effective production of product, including engineering department

  Manage day-to-day production demands for "job-shop" one of a kind custom order

  Review incoming orders and make decisions concerning efficient production, including job priority, raw material availability and staff assignments

  Establish and monitor production standards; examine product and/or test during manufacturing to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality

  Review individual job demands to avoid or resolve production issues.

  Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems and reports to provide meaningful management tools.

  Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs

  Manage staff: hire, train, evaluate and discharge when necessary

  Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification

  Qualifications:

  Minimum 8 years management experience in manufacturing environment

  Minimum 5 years ’ experience in HVAC industry

  Ability to read and interpret drawings and resolve issues before production begins

  Ability to motivate and develop personnel while developing and changing existing workplace dynamics

  Demonstrated success with Kaizen principals, 5-5 implementation and ISO requirements

  Must be adaptable and computer literate

  Bi-lingual - English and Spanish desirable

  BS Degree
