  Industrial Mechanic / Field Service TechnicianRHCC Auburn WAField Service Technician-RAY41Raymond West is looking for Field Service Technicians of all levels to service, troubleshoot, and repair all makes of material handling equipment at customer locations. Prior mechanical work experience preferred but not required, mechanical ability is enough! We determine this through a series of interviews and pre-hire testing. Pay is based on level of experience.Raymond West is committed to providing our customers with end-to-end warehouse solutions. We bring you our industry-leading expertise in lift trucks, racking, conveyor, dock and door, rentals, parts, and service. Our customers trust us to provide the right supply chain solutions and services to keep their business up and running.Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepair all types of equipment that Raymond West sells and services.Update training and skills on a continuing basis.Train other employees as needed.Maintain a profitable billing level.Follow all Service Department procedures.Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.Complete all paperwork transactions in a timely, neat, accurate and orderly fashion.Communicate all options to customers before proceeding with work.Have the necessary tools to perform repair and scheduled service work.Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.Maintain a clean and orderly (inside and outside) vehicle.Maintain an accurate assigned parts inventory, if applicable.Represent the entire company at all times.Pass Raymond Certification and re-certification if applicable.Maintain good working knowledge of customers and equipment in assigned areas.Maintain an acceptable driving record as established by the company's insurance carrier.Report accidents whether self or customer.Account for 100% of available time during working hours.Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.Must coordinate all overtime with assigned supervisor.Must follow all procedures in the company's Employee Handbook.Must follow safety procedures and use good judgment in regard to safety.Must be willing to work out of town as necessary.Establish a positive rapport with customers.Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by the Service Supervisors or Managers.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read, write and speak English fluentlyExcellent Organizational Time Management skillsProficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar softwareAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees ofMust be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departmentsMust be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required'Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.Must be self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently.Must be customer oriented.Able to exhibit professional behavior at all times.Willing to follow mandates and procedures of the Service Department.Ability to deal with customers on a face-to-face basis.Maintain a sound working relationship with other technicians and fellow workers.Must pass all available certificates appropriate to the position.Must have working knowledge of basic D.C. electricity, basic A.C. electricity, internal combustion, and diesel engines.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to
