If you're an electrically inclined, hands-on problem solver with a passion for maintaining complex machinery, we want you on our team.Position Overview:As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operation of electronic and electromechanical systems used to produce publications and products across various corporate locations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, conducting repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet objectives.Key Responsibilities:Support desktop and server hardware, operating systems, middleware, messaging, and network architectures.Monitor and analyze the operation of systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning.Identify and resolve problems utilizing structured troubleshooting methods, techniques, and tools.Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures, documents, drawings, and system documentation.Maintain and repair production machinery, forklifts, cranes, boilers, pumps, conveyors, and more.Prioritize duties and responsibilities to fulfill objectives.Collaborate with colleagues, technicians, and engineers in a multidisciplinary team.Comply with safety, 5S, and HazMat practices.Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.Demonstrate a cooperative attitude with colleagues and supervisors.Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.Troubleshoot and fix problems with control systems and electrical equipment.Ensure complete documentation of repairs.Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace components used in automated machinery.Perform preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment.Education/Experience:Preferred: Industrial Maintenance and Mechatronics or similar technical degrees.Five or more years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar field may be substituted.Must understand hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.High School Degree.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Comfortable climbing ladders and wearing a safety harness.Must be in good physical condition.Occupational and trade schools may apply.If you're an independent thinker with creative problem-solving skills, this position offers you the opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic work environment.Join our team in Washington and become a vital part of our mission to maintain and operate complex machinery.
