Description:
We are looking for an experienced Millwright & Rigging Estimator with experience in the automotive, heavy industrial, power & energy, industrial process, general manufacturing and water/wastewater industries. Candidates will prepare bids ranging from equipment installations and relocations, repair/maintenance, heavy rigging & machinery moving and decommissioning.
Responsibilities:
-Estimate labor, material, equipment, and other related costs for self-performed millwright & rigging projects
-Develop, write, and communicate detailed scopes of work for self-performed rigging projects
-Communicate with client purchasing managers, engineers and supervisors to understand project scope, goals, timing, and safety expectations
-Develop bid schedules
-Develop and communicate execution plans and strategies
-Perform per-bid meetings and site visits to obtain project details
-Identify and communicate potential change orders
-Respond to after-hours emergency calls and assist in dispatching the proper personnel
-Provide crews with detailed instructions, achievable goals and accurate information for successful and safe job completion

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-7 years of experience in industrial millwright & rigging experience (minimum of 4)
-Ability to conceptualize and quote projects with limited specifications
-Experience in blueprint, schematic, and custom drawing understanding and interpretation
-Capable of monitoring project progression from estimating through close out
-Experience in bidding, contract analysis, and purchase orders
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Ability to work on-call and travel occasionally
-Experience in project management preferred
