Industrial Coating Applicator

　　SummaryThe Industrial Coating Applicator is responsible for routine and preventativemaintenance coating duties within the manufacturing facility, including afull range of specialized coating projects. Duties include, but are notlimited to, meticulous coating and finishes, preparation and racking ofparts to be coated, quality inspections, clean up and tool maintenance,proper storage of coatings, documentation and scheduling of various coatingprojects, and operating various tools and equipment.

　　Essential DutiesPrepare and coat a variety of surfaces including steel, aluminum, uncoatedmetal, finished hardware, and various surfaces as specified.Maintain coating production metric worksheets and documentation as required.Manage coating production scheduling to maximize efficiency.Inspect and maintain coating production quality control documentation asspecified.

　　Work Environment

　　While performing duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed toodor, noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, movingmechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can beloud. The employee must be able to lift objects of medium weight (40lbs)and have the ability to stand at the workstation for long periods of time.

　　Required Education

　　Knowledge of coating systems and spray painting is helpful but not arequirement. A basic understanding of color theory will also be beneficial.Methods and techniques related to the safe use and storage of variouscoatings, chemicals, solvents, storage and clean up techniques and practices.

　　Position Type and Expected Work Hours

　　This is a full time position with regular working hours of Tuesday - Saturdayfrom 8:30AM - 5PM. Two 10 minute breaks and a lunch break are provided. Onthe job training will be provided and advancement opportunities will beavailable commensurate with company growth.
