Incoming Quality InspectorCategory:QualityEmployment Type:ContractReference:hR.Hr.We have a contract opportunity for a Quality Inspector in Bothell Washington. This position is initially approved for 6 months and could be extended.Starting Pay Rate:$26.00/Hr.Summary:Examine incoming material/products against specifications and/or inspection instructions set by the customer, supplier or company.Job Responsibilities:Perform incoming inspection on preproduction materials quickly and accurately, meeting lot requirements and transact materials in ERP; disposition to MBR.Provide inputs for process improvement for inspection accuracy and efficiency.Communicate quality findings/issues quickly to buyers, quality leadership and manufacturingSkills:Experience with quality inspection and record keeping.Demonstrated appropriate computer and system application skills to efficiency and accurate transact information on inspected materials/lots as neededDemonstrate competency with all Microsoft Office applications, in particular Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePointExperience using ERP systems demonstrated ability to read and follow written procedures & work instructions.Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal contexts knowledge/experience in manufacturing processes a plus.Work Schedule:Earliest start 530am - latest start 8am. 8hrs a day - 40hrs a week. M-F. OT is possible (not likely).Education:High school diploma required. Associates degree in a related field is a plus but not required.Requirements:4 plus years of experience in metrology and finished product inspection or related experience or training. High level assembly experience could be substituted for finished product inspection experience.Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
