INCOME MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
MUST: Have a high school diploma or GED. Associates degree in Human Servicesor Business Management field and/or 2 years of full-time responsible officeclerical or public contact experience will be considered.

DUTIES: Assesses economically vulnerable clients; evaluates clients'needs, provides comprehensive eligibility determinations to families orcases in accordance with agency, state, and federal program requirements.Conducts one-on-one interviews with applicants, recipients, and otherrelated parties to obtain information required to provide client servicesand/or determine program eligibility.Interprets and applies complex federal and state policy to ensure access toappropriate services and consistent, accurate, and timely processing ofclient services.Maintains thorough understanding of complex programs, processes, orspecialized systems through participation in ongoing training andself-teachingScreens clients' eligibility for community services, searches forcommunity partners and service providers to assist clients, and refersclient to community agencies based on needs and problems identified in theassessment; coordinates multiple services as required.Operates databases from a wide variety of systems, provides programservices, ongoing case maintenance, and/or to processes applications forassistance and redeterminations of eligibility.Accurately enters information into and/or receives information from thevarious computer eligibility systems (CBMS, EBT, SAVE, CUBS, and CSE).Updates and maintains a variety of files, records, and other documents;gathers, compiles, and synthesizes data for reporting purposes; developssummary records and prepares reports, including court reports; preparescase files and assessments for review.Handles confidential and sensitive information on a regular basis.Attends scheduled department meetings and trainings as required.Complete job description including duties and abilities is available onemployer website.
PAY: $16.53-$19.10 per hour.
