Overview: We are seeking a paralegal to join our growing and dynamic Immigration Law Department in our Minneapolis office with the opportunity to work remotely in a hybrid environment. Key Responsibilities Include: This position will work closely with attorneys to prepare a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions on behalf of employers and foreign nationals. It involves a high level of attention to detail, case management, communication, and organization to prepare employment- based immigration petitions including H-1B, L-1, TN, PERMs, I-140, and I-485 petition as well as family-based petitions and naturalization. This is a unique and stimulating position in the area of immigration law, working at one of the largest and leading law firms in Minnesota and the firm's vibrant Immigration Department. This position may be a hybrid position where the employee eventually may work remotely part of each week on a schedule determined with the employee's supervisor(s). Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: This position requires a passion for immigration law and high level organizational, analytical and writing skills. The position is open to individuals with excellent attention to detail, superb written skills, and an interest in world affairs and foreign cultures. You must be able to work well in a document intensive and fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Adobe and case management software is a plus. Immigration experience preferred but not required.
