About Identity and Collaboration Engineer

  Overview

  Element is seeking a highly skilled Identity and Collaboration Engineer to join our growing IT Team. As an Identity and Collaboration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering service enhancements as part of a project team and providing 3rd line support/SME capabilities.

  We are looking for a confident and experienced candidate with a forward-thinking mindset, strong determination, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. You should have a proven track record of agile delivery and a demonstrated ability to drive and implement change across M365, AzureAD, and AD. Your expertise in AD and M365 support across diverse enterprise environments will be valuable in this role.

  Responsibilities

  Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design and implement robust solutions using M365 services, such as Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business, along with ancillary products, including AD/AzureAD

  Product Life Cycle Management: Ensure a thorough understanding of key M365 product life cycles, track them effectively, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. Take appropriate remediation measures when required

  System Documentation and Maintenance: Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, testing procedures, training materials, run books, and post-deployment/upgrade assessments

  Collaboration with Project Managers: Collaborate closely with Infrastructure Project Managers to contribute to the successful delivery of IT projects

  3rd Line Support: Serve as a 3rd line support expert for M365 and resolve complex technical issues effectively

  Skills / Qualifications

  Expert-level technical knowledge of AD, AzureAD, M365, and core Microsoft products.

  Extensive experience in M365/O365 environments, including proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

  In-depth expertise with AzureAD and AD with a strong understanding of Microsoft IAM capabilities.

  Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation purposes.

  Experience with at least one migration tool for AD-to-AD and tenant-to-tenant migrations (e.g., Quest, Bittitan, BinaryTree, Quadrotech, ShareGate, etc.).

  Familiarity with implementing the Tiered Admin Model in AD and the Enterprise Access Model in AzureAD.

  Desirable experience with Mimecast and Exclaimer.

  Desirable experience with Adaxes or other AD Management products.

  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or another relevant field, or equivalent proven industry experience

  Recent Microsoft Certifications or equivalent proven industry experience
